Hello everyone,

it's been a while since I've wrote my last blog or was able to create some small dio.

The last month have been very busy for me, cause I was rebuiliding our home.
The two bods I used are from Revell and Italeri. The one from Revell is an Anglo Saxon warrior, the one from Italeri is a Gladiator. I put them up on a little rock and arranged some mud and grass around them.

So after a long time felt like ages, here's my latetst work...

this time I present you some knights. Orginally the bods are from an Dark Alliance set of heavy warriors of the dead. At some bods I added a little bit modeling compound and there they are:

Republican Romans on the marsh

Hello together,

today I present you a sprue of painted republican Romans on the marsh. The bods belong to the Strelets set M078.
This set contains 16 different Roman legionaires in different poses each plus the bonus figure of this set (I made my first dragonhunter out of him).
I gave the bods not the typical Roman red of the legion, but a white theme of their clothes.

Dragonhunters

I'm presenting you the first two bods of my dragonhunters. Originally the bods are bonus figures from Strelets M-series.
Not knowing what I had to do with them I decided to create a new class of my bods. Now I need more of them and also a dragon to challenge them ;)

Pictures from the " Inspiration Modellbau Mainz 2015"

Hello together,

this weekend was the Inspiration Modellbau fair in Mainz. Compared with last year event, there we're some differencies.
The location of the different exhibitors had changed this year. I needed several minutes to orientate myself in it, but finally I could find, what I was looking for :)
The most obvious difference was the lighting in the hall. One part of the hall was bright as usual so you could take some nice pictures, but the other part of the hall was so dark, that every exhibitor had brought additional spotlights to lighten up the exhibition tables. That was very sad, because the great Poitiers - diorama was on the dark side of the hall.
In my opinion the dark side of the hall effect was caused by the cladding of the halls roof. It was made of two different materials, of those one was more translucent than the other.
